Senior Director

Communities in Schools of the South Plains

I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Lubbock Christian University in May 2010. I then received her Master of Science in Human Services with a Specialization in Family Life Education in December 2014 also from Lubbock Christian University.

I completed my Practicum hours at Family Promise of Lubbock where I was hired after completion of my hours in 2010 as a Case Manager, and Volunteer Coordinator. There I gained experience in working with homeless families, children, and veterans. I began with Communities In Schools as a Site Coordinator at an alternative campus in the Spring of 2012. CIS® works with students and families in the school environment.

​The goal of the CIS® is to help students overcome any barriers that prevent them from being successful in school. In the fall of 2015, I was promoted to Director of State and Local Programs. In the fall of 2022 I was promoted to Senior Director. In the Spring of 2023, I became a Care Integration Coordinator for Covenant Hospital in Lubbock. In this role, I help patients with discharge planning. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our three children, and our pets.
