Vice President, Head of TalentAmerican Heart AssociationSally Pabin is the National Senior Vice President, Talent for the American Heart Association. She joined the Association in 2014. In her role, she works closely with senior leaders across the business and HR to source, attract, select, develop, and retain top and early career talent.
Sally drives key HR strategies supporting the Association’s more than 3,000 employees. She leads a team managing employee engagement, employer brand, diverse recruitment and selection, the intern program, the HeartCorp volunteer program, and an award-winning internal university for learning and development, career coaching, and talent reviews/succession management. Sally serves on the Diversity Leadership Committee with internal and external leaders, and the CEO Diversity Advisory Cabinet focused on diversity and inclusion strategy to deliver programs, events, and education supporting a culturally competent workforce. She is also a member of the National Organization on Disability’s leadership council and works with Diversity Inc. and the Human Rights Campaign. Sally has 25+ years of global HR leadership experience including international companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Tektronix (a Danaher company), and Tetra Pak. She holds certifications in continuous improvement, change management, and leadership development. Her passion for talent management is focused on developing the leaders of tomorrow. |
