Melanie currently serves as Senior Executive leading USAA's Chief Finance Office Portfolio Management Office where she is responsible for Portfolio Governance, Program/Project Management, Agile Execution, Change Management as well as Communication for large Transformation efforts. She holds $100M budget responsibility and has the privilege to directly lead a team of 40 talented professionals.

Melanie is a US ARMY Veteran with over 20 years of experience in leading and advancing enterprise transformation through market research, product management, program management, process management and financial management. She has contributed to organizational success in the following industries: Management Consulting; Defense; Insurance and Financial Services.

Melanie earned her Bachelors in Business Administration in Marketing and International Business from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. And she earned an MBA from the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University. She holds PMP®; Agile LPM as well as Black Belt certifications. 

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and serving God in various ministries at First United Pentecostal Church in San Antonio, TX.
