Recruiting ManagerBrookwoods GroupMarilyn Emanuel earned an MBA degree with all advanced marketing courses taken at Texas A&M University - College Station as a graduate assistant. Her career has evolved over the last 30 years from a college marketing instructor to product manager for consumer- packaged goods working on the Minute Maid products, and as a marketing manager/director within the banking, cellular and staffing industries.
Her marketing management career has been with global billion-dollar brands, start-ups and non-profits such as Director of Membership for the Houston Zoo. With 12 years tenure , Marilyn continues to use her marketing skills as a strategic recruiting manager for Brookwoods Group staffing firm in Houston. She has been a small business owner, a special advisor for the review of marketing courses at University of Houston-Downtown, guest speaker for AMA round tables and Webinars. Her passion is mentoring and using her 12 years of recruiting experience to work as a career coach where she helps career-minded professionals determine and find their best-fit roles to enjoy complete self-alignment and total fulfillment. Marilyn enjoys helping others as a certified personal trainer and health coach. She is the mother of three adult children, 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild. |
