Industry ProfessorRetiredLisa is an engineer by training, with a career that spanned more than 4 decades in the petrochemical industry and at NASA's Johnson Space Center. Her roles included training astronauts and mission controllers, integration engineering for spacewalks, coordinating science training for crew members in Star City, Russia, and managing human research in analog environments across 3 continents. She currently teaches Managing Technical Teams in the Master's of Engineering Technical Management program for Texas A&M University.
Leadership is a passion for Lisa, and she completed a Master's in Communication and Leadership as well as a PhD in Leadership Studies, with a focus on women engineers in leadership roles. She also holds Master's degrees in Computer Systems Design, Public Administration, and Biological Sciences, and a BS in Chemical Engineering. |
