Accreditation ManagerDFW Airport Police DepartmentOfficer Clifton has worked in law enforcement for 21 years. She has the majority of her career in the Patrol Division of DFW Airport working as a vehicle officer and a terminal officer. For the past 6 years, she has been the Texas Police Chief’s Best Practices Accreditation Manager for DFW Airport Police Department. She is responsible for ensuring her department remains in compliance with 166 Texas Law Enforcement Best Practices and is recognized through the Texas Police Chiefs Association every 4 years.
Officer Clifton also works with a special unit whose primary responsibility is to deter, detect, and defend the DFW Airport Terminals from the threat or infiltration of terroristic criminal elements. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Public Administration from Liberty University and an undergraduate degree in Applied Arts and Science with an emphasis in Criminal Justice from Midwestern State University. Officer Clifton also holds a TCOLE Master Peace Officer License, Arson Investigator License, TCOLE Instructor Certificate, Mental Health Peace Officer Certificate, Basic Structural Firefighter Certificate, Basic Aircraft Firefighter Certificate, and is a Basic Emergency Medical Technician |
