Executive Business ConsultantJohn Staurulakis, Inc.Amanda has amassed almost 20 years' experience within the Telecommunications industry in various positions and companies. Right out of undergrad, she started in sales at a regional cellular carrier, and quickly rose within the company to the Billing Manager. She then worked for a B/OSS software vendor working with clients all over the US to assist in software conversions and assessing ways to obtain operational efficiency. Next she accepted a position with a Telephone Cooperative as the Controller and then was promoted to Director of Business Operations.
She then offered the Assistant General Manager position at a neighboring Telephone Cooperative. Currently, she is an Executive Business Consultant at John Staurulakis (JSI), which is a consulting firm for telephone, electric, and broadband service providers throughout the US. Amanda holds a Masters of Business Administration in Management from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, and a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from Angelo State University. She has received several awards, including "Woman of the Year, Telecom Industry" by the Professional Association of Woman and was recognized as a "Rising Star (in Telecom)" by the Broadband Bunch. Amanda has been actively involved in many boards and industry groups within the telecommunications industry, including several "Women in Telecom" groups. |
