Senior Business AnalystOracleI have worked in the information technology industry for over 30 years (25+ at Oracle Corporation) having spent time in multiple organizations including; IT, Product Management, Operations, Support, and Sales. I received my MBA in 2013 from Texas A&M Commerce while raising two young daughters, and my BA from Oregon State in 1993 (French and Political Science). I am a solo mom of a freshman daughter (passionate basketball player), and a son who is starting kindergarten. While not on the road for sports, I raise livestock on my 10-acre farm I started in 2017.
Within Oracle, I participate in several programs aimed at advancing workplace culture; Oracle Women’s Leadership, Cultural Ambassador program, and Employee Experience Council, respectively. I also currently serve as a Director Emeritus with the BRM Institute and on the Relationshipism team supporting activities that bring together People/Purpose/Planet. Additionally, with the BRM Institute, I served as a Board Member as well as Chair of the Executive (C-Suite) Council. I have also co-authored papers, and served as a panel speaker with the BRM Institute. (Relationshipism is the theory of being relationship-centered in all aspects of life and especially in organizations. It promotes trusted teams, a mindful focus on authentic relationships, increased personal power and fearless creativity.) I am a big believer in learning something new every day by opening oneself to new opportunities in order to bring out one’s best work & self. I am passionate about advancing women in the workplace and am excited to return to the A&M family as a A&M Texarkana WIL Program Advisor. |
